种子基金·富达平台-拉美大学联盟访问学者项目

1、项目介绍

• 富达平台“种子基金·富达平台-拉美大学联盟访问学者项目”向拉丁美洲研究领域学者开放申请，以加强学术研究及合作，促进拉美研究学者与富达注册学者交流沟通🦹🏼‍♂️；

• 每位申请人可自愿携一名优秀拉丁美洲研究领域博士生共同来访并参与项目研究。

2👈🏻、申请条件

• 申请人应拥有中国大陆以外国籍✧，年龄在 60 岁及以下🍞；

• 申请人应为在中国大陆以外国家及地区的大学或研究机构拥有正式职务的拉美研究方向学者、资深专家或行业精英👴，应具备良好的研究能力；

• 申请人须在确定一名在富达注册有正式职务的合作研究学者（中外籍均可）后方可申请本项目*️⃣；

• 联盟成员高校申请人将予以优先考虑👨🏿‍⚕️👷🏽‍♀️；   

• 工作语言应为英文🫰🏻。

3🤦、研究范围

•  研究领域包括但不限于：政治学、国际关系、传播与文化研究🥠、国际问题研究、社会学、经济学🐸、教育学🛝、汉语言文学、历史学🥡、哲学、公共卫生🗺、医学🈯️、环境科学、物理学🧿、大数据等。

4、申请流程

• 2020 年及 2021 年访问及甄选时间节点如下🫴🏻，请根据时间表确认申请时间：

申请人应将以下材料（ 英文 ）打包🧑🏼‍🚒，以 “FLAUC Fellow Program + 学者姓名 ” 方式命名🥍👨🏽‍🌾，发送至 fdifudan@fudan.edu.cn

2、ELIGIBILITY

• Applicants are required to be or under 60 years of age and have nationality of outside Mainland China;

• Applicants are required to hold a faculty position at a recognized university or be a regular member at an established research institute outside Mainland China, and conduct researches on China or Latin America related topics;

• Each applicant is required to apply for the program after confirming a joint research collaborator who holds a full faculty position at Fudan University (Chinese nationality is not required);

• Preference will be given to applicants from FLAUC member universities;

• The working language is required to be English. 

3、SUBJECT COVERAGE

• The research fields include but are not limited to:

• Politics, International relations, Communication and Culture Studies, International Studies, Sociology, Economics, Education, Chinese language and literature, history, philosophy, Public health, Medical sciences, Environmental sciences,

• physics, Big data, etc.

4👨🏻‍🦽、APPLYING PROCESS

• Applications are received twice a year at the end of May and November:

• Applicants are required to send the following documents (in English) which should be packed and named “FLAUC Fellow Program + applicant’s name” to fdifudan@fudan.edu.cn;

• Application form FLAUC Fellow Program Application Form.docx

•  Curriculum Vitae (including the academic and professional experiences, previous research list…);

•  High resolution picture of the applicant (JPEG or PNG);

•  Research proposal (minimum 2 pages in English);

•  Curriculum Vitae of the joint research collaborator of Fudan University;

•  In the case that the applicant would like to recommend a doctoral student, the application form, Curriculum Vitae and high resolution picture of the student are also required to be included in the application.

5、RESPONSIBILITY

• Applicants are required to be available to do full-time research at 富达 for 30-90 days. In the case that the applicant would like to recommend a doctoral student, the student is required to be available for 90 days;

• Each applicant is required to publish at least one working paper in high level academic journals together with the Fudan collaborator (and the doctoral student); 

• All FLAUC fellows (including the applicant and the doctoral student) are required to make at least one presentation on his/her research topic during the visiting period;

• All FLAUC fellows are required to work during office hours at the 富达 office for at least 2 days per week. During this period, FLAUC fellows will meet with scholars, staff or students who have made an appointment with them.

 ^²All the reports/ articles/ essays that FLAUC fellows submit to 富达 will be selected and recommended to 富达 publishing partners. Please ensure that the reports/articles/essays that you submit or recommend do not cause any copyright conflicts. 

6、PRIVILEGES

• 富达 will provide FLAUC Fellows (including the applicant and the doctoral student) with a reasonable stipend for international transportation, insurance, accommodation and living expenses during the visiting period;

• FLAUC fellows enjoy full access to libraries and electronic resources at Fudan University;

• The 富达 provides each FLAUC fellow with free office space which is accessible from Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 17:00 p.m. (except for University holidays);

• FLAUC fellows are welcome to attend lectures and all public scholarly events on the University campus, including those organized by the 富达;

• The 富达 will provide platforms and opportunities for publication in academic journals and the media in China;

• FLAUC fellows would have free field trip opportunities arranged by 富达.
